BCI (Buckeye Corrugated, Inc.), Akron, Ohio, completed the purchase of the Hawkeye Corrugated Box Company, Cedar Falls, Iowa, on December 31, 2009.

Hawkeye started in 1967 and was previously owned by Scott Bittner, son of one of the four original founders Stan Bittner. Since its inception, Hawkeye has been regarded as one of the premier independent sheet plants in Iowa, providing exceptional service and products to its customers.
